As a board certified gastroenterologist, Dr. Meyer practices general gastroenterology with a special focus on inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Meyer is married with two daughters, and she enjoys spending her free time with her family.

She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society, as well as several professional organizations that include the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, and the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology.
Education & Fellowship
Dr. Meyer graduated cum laude with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Arizona. After working as a chemical engineer for Exxon Corporation and later Intel Corporation, she returned to the University of Arizona to earn her M.D. where she graduated first in her class. Her internal medicine internship/residency and fellowship in gastroenterology were completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
