Introduction
Asheville Gastroenterology Associates has collaborated in both academic and pharmaceutical industry research since 1996. We have participated as a site for greater than 100 investigational drug trials, several device trials, as well as serving as an adjunct site in collaboration with regional university medical centers. These studies have reflected vast disciplines within the field of gastroenterology such as inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, celiac sprue, colon cancer prevention, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and irritable bowel syndrome.
